A visit to Albéa參訪阿蓓亞包裝（蘇州）有限公司

We visited Albéa factory which is located in Suzhou SIP on March the 4th. It is worthy of the name and it was my honor to enter the factory in person. It is a French company which offers the world’s largest range of cosmetics, personal care and pharmaceuticals packaging which involves plastic & laminate tubes, mascaras, lipsticks, samplers and foam pumps, and recognized expertise in fragrance & skincare dispensing pumps, fragrance & lotion caps, compacts, lip-gloss, promotional items and accessories. It counts 38 manufacturing sites in Europe, Americas and Asia, 1 global headquarters in Paris and 2 other main sales offices in New York City and Shanghai.
3月4日， 我們工科班師生一同參觀了位于蘇州工業(yè)園區(qū)的阿蓓亞包裝（蘇州）有限公司。阿蓓亞是一個(gè)很有實(shí)力的品牌，能參觀它的工廠是我的榮幸。它 是世界上最大之一的提供美妝、個(gè)人護(hù)理以及藥物包裝的法國公司， 包括塑膠軟管， 薄片軟管，睫毛膏，唇膏，取樣器，泡沫型噴頭，香水、護(hù)膚品噴頭以及附帶產(chǎn)品。在歐美亞共有38家工廠，總部設(shè)在法國， 兩個(gè)主要銷售部分別在上海和紐約。
The first department we visited is manufacturing workshop. Here we visited one artificial work line where workers are assigned to different work process, such as making the knurling and checking if there are bubbles in the bottles’ wall, to complete the assembling. Whereas, the automatic work line we visited is different. All the manufacturing is done by machines. The only problem is that the machines produce a big noise. As a student in the engineering class, the main target was to understand how these machines work and find out what career was the most suitable. What’s more, I foresaw that machinery would supersede manual labor gradually after seeing these numerically controlled machines.
我們參觀的第一個(gè)部門是生產(chǎn)車間，在這里我們參觀了一條人工流水線，工人們分工完成組裝的不同工序，例如給瓶身燙上花紋，檢測瓶壁是否含有氣泡等。接下來參觀的全自動(dòng)的生產(chǎn)線與人工流水線不太一樣，所有的生產(chǎn)均由機(jī)器完成，唯一的問題是機(jī)器發(fā)出的噪音較大。作為工科學(xué)生，我們主要的目的就是理解這些數(shù)控機(jī)器是怎樣運(yùn)作的以及思考合適自己的工作領(lǐng)域。另外， 看到周圍的眾多數(shù)控機(jī)器，我預(yù)想機(jī)器生產(chǎn)將逐漸取代人力。
The next department we visited was the product testing room. Selective products have to pass the test in different conditions, such as shock heating and cooling, vacuum and pressure. The thickness of the wall of bottles is also measured to be accurate in 3 decimal places in millimeter to make sure it’s qualified. Even a little pump we use in cosmetic products includes dozens of components. And whether the cosmetic liquid will have chemical reaction with the outer packaging has to be considered .I realized that the application of knowledge is everywhere in our life.
隨后，我們參觀了產(chǎn)品的檢測室。抽樣的產(chǎn)品必須通過不同條件的測試，例如驟冷驟熱的溫度差測試，真空測試，強(qiáng)壓測試等。測量瓶壁厚度時(shí)會(huì)精確到毫米單位的小數(shù)點(diǎn)后三位來確保產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量過關(guān)。即使是我們所使用的化妝品包裝的一個(gè)小小的噴頭， 也包含幾十個(gè)零件， 還要考慮產(chǎn)品材質(zhì)和化妝品液體是否會(huì)發(fā)生化學(xué)反應(yīng)。我意識(shí)到，在我們的生活中，知識(shí)的運(yùn)用無處不在。
At last, I would like to thank Albéa and the accompanied teachers again for providing us the academic guidance and tour. I learned a lot and accumulated a lot of experience during this trip.
最后我十分感謝Albéa 以及陪同我們的老師和阿蓓亞員工們，給我們提供了一次學(xué)術(shù)性的參觀和指導(dǎo)，這次參觀我學(xué)到了不少也積累了經(jīng)驗(yàn)。
